#GoodMorning from a very wet #Fife. Its chucking it down today, so that means pjs day, might get some progress made on the stitching, really want to get the current project finished by the weekend.
Finally got a decent sleep thanks to the meds, pretty sure I didn't move all night since I woke with my hot water bottle still on my back.

#Introduction

I'm Fi, just a lost soul from Scotland trying to keep my head about water and get through each day in this mad world.

I'm a carer for my son (known as The Child). 2 cats keep my insanity in check.

Usually found with cross stitching or exploring in World of Warcraft.

Oesteoarthritis and fibromyalgia keep me indoors a lot, or my MH tells me to stay away from people.

Alas, it is what it is, just pass me coffee and everything will be okay!

Good morning/afternoon/evening everyone.

That wind has been howling all night, been worryingly strong at times, thankfully I don't have to go out today.

Todays plans involve a hot shower, clean pjs, leftover nasi goreng and fried egg for breakfast, then it might just be the usual Dcotor Who and stitching.

Last of the Christmas presents get delivered today, so I need to wrap them up.

I rather enjoyed doing this little squirrel by Vivid Stash. The tartan is called Stash Tartan and is registed in The Scottish Register of Tartans.

Who needs red squirrels when we can have tartan squirrels 😉

Today turned into a REALLY GOOD DAY.
Farmers market and a little bit of shopping this morning, bumped into a friend had a quick chat. Got home at 1, sat down with a cuppa and got a text from @BenartyComputer asking if I wanted to go to Hobbycraft....oh okay then. So an afternoon of being social too.

Absolutely shattered now, new crafty stuff to look at, wine to drink - maybe. Time for pjs now.

Have to say, right now, I'm genuinely happy!

Good morning everyone, Monday is here again and I suppose I better get my shit in order, get stuff done and get a routine back. The child is back at school today, straight into assessments - once the assessments are done, thats him finished with school forever 😮
I have lots to do today, Bob the Gallstone is being a dick but on the plus side, I can move a lot easier this morning!

Okay, its a terrible picture and its not ironed cause its way too hot to iron. The pattern is straight, fabric is just bundled up under it.

#DeathByCrossStitch by #LongDogSamplers. Stitched on white 16ct aida fabric, using approx 370 metres of black DMC thread, 6 needles used. Final stitched area is - 55cm wide and 69cm high.

This was a labour of love, a challenge, a reward to myself, part of my #MentalHealth journey.

Its done now.

Opinions please.
My son (16yrs) needs to find online friends for #GTA stuff and #pokemon stuff....when I say stuff, I mean for playing online.
I keep telling him to join mastodon and he will find folks here. The only issue he has is - he is not a talkative sort and struggles with the whole chatty thing. He just wants to scroll and play his games....but needs others to help out now and then.

Limited cheese here though as its one of the foods that my body hates, urgh.

Things I love about Mastodon -

1. Seeing photos of places I will never go to. I rarely leave the house, so seeing these makes me happy.

2. Being able to talk about stitching without people telling me to shut up.

3. Random connections and conversations. I am hugely awkward around people and barely speak in the "real" world, so this can make me feel like I'm not totally isolated from the world.

Just been reading that the North Carr Lightship in Dundee is set to be deconstructed in January.
The ship was built in 1933, guided the arctic convoys during WW2, was one of only 2 lightships that served in Scottish waters. She is believed to be the last remaining lightship in Scotland.Still retains her original equipment.
I'm really sad about this, she is past her best, but I'm gutted that she will be going. I need to get better pics before she goes.
