Iโve seen a few people complaining about JPN bread lately
imo the bagged stuff at the store isnโt great but its passable, and better than US white bread. The Shoku-pan at bakeries is really good for a lot of things.
I think the problem isnโt so much that Japanese bread is bad per se, but that its hard to find the hardier European style loaves ๐
