@Wraithe I’ve had my boss send me home early … and stop me from walking out the door because his boss needs someone to go to his house to help his ornamental wife install Word (she had moved the icon by mistake and couldn’t find it).
Have y'all ever had someone act like you were hurting them somehow by just liking a food?
Any time I buy or make kimchi, my Mom says it's so gross and she doesn't want any and just on and on. I never offer it to her, or make group food with it, but for some reason she seems offended by it, and I don't know why.
@RickiTarr I don’t have anyone like that in my life. My parents have always been willing to try new foods and flavors … and they’re also very open to new ideas too.
I had a roommate who was like that. I finally got him to understand that he had no right to complain until he had tried the food. His horizons expanded.
Andy Reid's and Patrick Mahomes's mealy-mouthed statements how there's all different people in the locker room are as weak as it gets. Fuck those guys.
I don't think anyone in my family has ever put a dish in the dishwasher. Which makes me wonder, what do they think is behind the stainless steel door under the counter?
If you see two people together of different ethnicities or races, don’t assume they’re “just friends” and not a couple. And don’t act surprised if your assumption is wrong.
And yes, I’m saying this because a highly unpleasant conversation just occurred.
@RickiTarr I believe that if someone set up this universe to run, they probably have forgotten about it, and the simulation has been running amok for bit. P
@thepoliticalcat I used to do ocassional work for a Friends Congregation, and a few of the couples were very crunchy … so I sort of got used to seeing older children (no longer babies or toddlers) getting breast feed.
“People put old-timey ventriloquist dummies and old Victorian porcelain dolls all over their houses because they can, never asking if they should. No one tells them that too many of them together open the gates between dimension. All that’s left is to clean blood and gore from walls and ceilings.”
