Isnโ€™t this the lady that exonerated Adnan Syed? I donโ€™t remember the specifics, but I remember her reasoning being overly politial and questionable. Just random that I recognized her as someone who lives on the other side of the country.

Camping, hunting, dirt bike riding, moving, general utility and many other things done by most adults that donโ€™t like to rely on other people. I donโ€™t want to pay a moving company if I move, I donโ€™t want to ask someone else if I want to tow my trailer out to camp. I donโ€™t want to call some construction company everytime I need so much as a 2x4 to repair my home. Anyone who doesnโ€™t own a truck will at some point rely on someone who does. It is not dumb as shit to own a truck for everyone. Not everyone lives the same life you do. I live in a rural area, I spent 6 months at one point in my life without a truck, I will never do it again. Probably 95% of the time I donโ€™t need a truck, but when I need it, I need it. My daily driver is a beater car, most of the time, depending on logistics and weather. But if I had to only have one vehicle it would be a truck. A truck will haul 5 people, so will most cars but a truck can drive through weather and haul things when you need it. Although I am a middle aged dad in a rural area. ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ I must be dumb.

As much as I am a skeptic of everything this administration pretends to try to do, but making it legal for medical purposes is what started the legalization process in every legalized state. Biden doesnโ€™t make malicious moves, he just does half measures on everything that usually result in nothing but a show.

There would be a market for adenosine in prisons if this held up. Usually stops the heart for ~10 seconds when slammed in the IV. We use it to convert supraventricular tachycardia back to a normal sinus rhythm. But there is a few seconds if terror most the time.

I USUALLY wait for someone near where they were at to reinforce them, if it has been an absurdly long time I will do it and throw them as far as I can in the direction they were. However, if I am with a bunch of noobs that are off doing random shit and dying and we are getting short on reinforcements or time, I will bounce their beacon straight off the objective. A little tactical teleportation usually gets things back on track. Somebodyโ€™s got to rally the troops.

I thought they nerfed guns specifically so there were no โ€œmetaโ€ loadouts. They want you to pick a gun based on your playing style, not because it is a known fact that it is the โ€œbestโ€ gun

I think that the last few pages of the Warbond should be stupid expensive like 250 medals each. I am apparently a loser and have no life. But my ship is maxed and every Warbond is complete. Everyone I play with is in the same boat. BRING IT ON.

I can understand not joining recents for the sake of not having to deal with someone maybe you didnโ€™t really want to keep playing with and not having to boot. Iโ€™ve been on a few squads where I wasnโ€™t particularly mad at someone enough to boot or something, but itโ€™s nice to just โ€œReturn to ship aloneโ€ and start fresh, and you donโ€™t have to be a dick. Every now and then you get great squads where your playing styles compliment each other, other times you get people that run off on their own and call in all the resupplys and continuously die.

However, if the game had a way to detect if you disconnected mid game due to network or game issues and not a kick from the host then maybe it could give you a notification like a game invite to rejoin.

I feel like if we leave our shitty reviews on an otherwise masterpiece of a game, Sony, ea, all those other shit publishers (too many to list) will just dismiss gamers as never happy. Reviews will mean shit to them. And the reviews will mean shit to consumers if they are always negative. I canโ€™t think of a single game other than helldivers (Baldurs gate?) that hasnโ€™t been met with the hivemind calling for heads in the last decade. While I agree with the hivemind, at some point they are just gonna be like fuck it, gamers are never happy, they keep buying the games though, so make as much money as possible. Kinda like a kid thatโ€™s always grounded has nothing to lose.

If there is never a positive then it will never be taken seriously. I already am skeptical that this game will keep going at the rate its going. It is a $40 game, and the Warbonds can easily be earned in game, so no oneโ€™s buying them with actual money. While 10-15 years ago that was normal, that model doesnโ€™t really hold up in what the profitability standards are for publishers now. Least we can do is keep positive reviews so people keep buying the game and keep the devs in the office long term.

There was a timeline update from the devs, they signed with Sony 8 years ago, were made aware of this requirement 2 months prior to launch, then disabled during launch because servers were exploding. Apparently this wasnโ€™t something put directly in the contract 8 years ago and if you think a tiny game studio has the resources to litigate their way out of that detail or decide to go it alone 2 months before launch you are wrong.

I donโ€™t remember where, but I remember seeing it when I bought it. (Not in the TOS, who reads those). But I was digging up my old PSN account while it downloaded. I bought it a couple weeks after launch. When the prompt to sign in popped up, I signed in. I didnโ€™t even realize you could skip it but I didnโ€™t mind signing in, I bought the game so I could play with my buddies that are on Playstation. I guess it seemed reasonable, to me, to sign into a PSN account to play with PSN players, i honestlythoughtit was a requirementfor cross-platform. But I donโ€™t play a lot of cross-platform games so I am not familiar with what is normal I guess. Of the fuckery going on in the gaming industry and the internet in general this seemed like small potatoes.
