Rural folks get their news and views from each other. The loudest and most belligerent usually wins any discussion - not because they are right but because they are not above using violence or doing nasty things. They get a dopamine rush from anger and Putin's psyops gives it to them. These are the influencers in rural America - most go along to get along.

I listen to every morning for 2 hours. Many of the calls are from "rural" types. They are mad as hell and full of grievance. They learn the basic talking points from the only news they watch.. FOX ENTERTAINMENT.

They hate everything that trump tells them to hate and man they really hate those "illegals". They are all convinced that Biden is sick and really stole the 2020 election.

I subject myself to 2 hours of Washington Journal every morning. It has turned into a 2 hour MAGA hate and grievance rally. I listen only to hear a few minutes of someone sane, not mad, with good common sense speak a few words of wisdom..

They have 3 lines for Democratic, Republican and Independent voters. The MAGA kooks call all 3 lines and flood the show with FOX nonsense.

The media is doing the same thing they did in 2016.
