I have a calendar item reminding me to check the SSL cert on ubuntu.social because I'm paranoid it will expire and I won't know. So far certbot has done the good stuff, and it's all fine. I'm still gonna check it each time I see the reminder. :D
I am searching for #example#accounts for my e-mail to #Valve to invite them into the #Fediverse! Obviously accounts with topics like Gaming, Linux, Steam (Deck), etc. would fit in. But really any other notable accounts (that consent to it) will be great!
given the way I post (lots of long threads that I continuously extend over hours or days), it'd be handy to have, like, a "thread view" for mastodon. like it'd be shortened versions of all non-reply posts I've made recently, with a counter for how many replies there are, with a link to the last post in the thread
Thinking of starting a mastodon instance for myself and for past and current patreon supporter, where I could develop more fediverse projects I want to create.
Is that something that you would be interested in?
(and of course bird.makeup would never get banned on it)

New little feature on bird.makeup this weekend: the account page will now display the number of followers a user has, and also in which server that account is the most popular.
Hope this will help users find more niche servers that host the communities they want to be part of! Also if you are on a server like mastodon.social that bans bird.makeup and you want to move, this is now my recommended way to find a new home
