When news outlets toot mass shooting stories, why don't same people who ask me, ask them to post CW? I just got a demand to CW when I covered a story by quoting the headline. Wasn't gory, simply a report about a mass shooting taking place.

That's 1 thing about Mastodon that I don't quite get. I understand when it gets too graphic, but not something that's widely reported in the usual way.

Ignorance is not bliss. Being informed is how we help stop atrocities.

Not debating, just my opinion.
