I absolutely loathe link shorteners.

There is absolutely no reason to use them here because none of us have very restrictive character counts here.

All it does is obscure the true source of the articles you are linking and make it that much more difficult to filter disreputable sources.

Plus, I want to know where I'm navigating to before I click the link.
