Trump enters the courtroom. Before arriving, he lingered for a moment in the doorway, talking to his lawyers, Emile Bove and Todd Blanche. He had a piece of paper in his hand, which he waved around as he spoke.

Wait for it….

First, Elon Musk ruins the Tesla brand, Tesla shares and sales plummet.

Elon fires 15,000+ good employees to compensate and save 1 billion dollars.

Board of Directors now considering giving Elon $56 Billion over a 10-year period, that's $5.6 billion per year.

Tesla's net income in 2023 was only $7.9 billion, and it's heading downward.

Mary Barra, of GM, (comparatively) only makes $29 million/year.

Welcome to Crazytown...

DeJoy's job is to improve mail service. If he is failing, and the board won't fire him, they're not doing THEIR job, and THEY should be replaced as well.

@_ohcoco_ agreed. The USPS is a constitutionally mandated service, just like the US military, so unless the armed forces are now required to show a profit, the post office should not be looked at as a for-profit business. Don't get me started... (I know, too late) 🤨

@br00t4c remember when we thought Elon Musk was a reclusive genius?
And then, when he became far from reclusive, we found out that he wasn't a genius, either.

999 is the debut studio album by English punk rock band 999, included the singles "I'm Alive" and "No Pity" and released on this day in 1978

@historyofpunkrock "Biggest Prize in Sport" was released while I was in high school and it's in my DNA at this point. There was a Hallmark Store in downtown Wilmington, Ohio and the owners let their 30-something son stock a record section in back and he has no idea how he changed the direction of my life through a number of purchases... XTC? Check. Vapors? Check. The Clash? Hell yes, check.

@RustyBertrand I still don't buy the "Deckard was a replicant" storyline. If Tyrell created a replicant to hunt other replicants, why wouldn't they give him comparable abilities? Instead, he gets his ass kicked - a lot. 😅

@historyofpunkrock In 1977 I was a 14 year-old Ohio farm kid, so I was too late to this amazing party, but I did get to experience the burgeoning midwestern hardcore scene in the early 80's, so I'm thankful for that.

"The reason they keep going back to this fantasy that Joe Biden could not have gotten 81 million votes is they are protected from knowing those people or how many of them there are. They are protected from hearing anything positive about Biden. They are protected from hearing any evidence that Trump is the villain that he is."

"The record establishes that Mr. Trump, over the course of several months and culminating on January 6, 2021, used a false narrative of election fraud to inflame his supporters and direct them to the Capitol to prevent certification of the 2020 election and the peaceful transfer of power. I likewise conclude that Mr. Trump was aware of the likelihood for violence and at least initially supported its use given he both encouraged it with incendiary rhetoric and took no timely action to stop it."
