Würde mit einigen Kids gerne eine Burg in Minetest bauen. Das ganze im Schulnetz. Einen öffentlichen Server brauche ich nicht.

Minetest kommt ohne vorinstalliertes Spiel, einfach auf den "Ein Spiel installieren" Button drücken, eines aussuchen und auf das grüne Plus dahinter klicken"

It works really well on the Steam Deck because it uses Steam Input to bind controller movements to keyboard/mouse events. It's very playable when roaming the world and a bit more fiddly in GUIs - you need to move a mouse cursor with the right touchpad rather than it snapping to things quickly

As for other platforms, see the following wiki page. We're currently working on Minetest 5.9, one of the big changes will be rewriting our input code using SDL2. This will allow us to support gamepads natively with a better user experience
