It seems to me two easy wins for would be a secondary route at France/Spain border (and that's before the first is at capacity) and something robust for freight & high speed trains between Spain and Portugal.

And my attempt to go to bed early in order to get up an work on things in the morning has utterly failed. But I took progesterone two hours ago or so, so i don't trust myself to think clearly or express thoughts accurately.

Meanwhile, my brain is looking for stimulus instead of going to sleep and just picking arguments with every person I've ever interacted with in the last decade or two instead....ugh.

Anyone know where i can get a new brain? Pretty sure this one is damaged beyond repair

Last night, I was thinking that Kuenssberg wasn't really a journalist, she was more a groupie; this morning, The Bunker is talking about politics as fandoms. I think this says a lot about modern political discourse in the UK.

There is little serious interest in, or analysis of, policy; the focus is on who is briefing against who, sleeping with who, plotting against who, winning arcane popularity contests.

This is essentially unserious.

I feel very, very unwell. Tom keeps talking about “resilience” and how I have to talk to myself saying that I will come out of it soon and life will be worth living again, but I just can’t believe it. I can’t remember how it feels to be happy, and self-talk doesn’t cut it

I’m feeling a little fragile this morning, no alcohol was consumed but I’ve got an excitement/mood hangover from last night’s wonderful event. So a bit tired, a little low, somewhat anxious. Trying to keep a lid on it, may take some anti-anxiety meds.

Meeting my old sixth form clique for lunch today, four of us are bringing our daughters age range 8-24! Then the Big Bash this evening. I’ve got my costume all ready! 😁

You haven't heard from me on the Cass Report because I'm busy at work, and halfway through the last of the Oh Shit articles. I haven't had a chance to read it in any detail.

But from the skimming I've done, and even early scholarly rebuttals, it sure as hell looks like a textbook example of how to produce sham science, even independent of its impact on trans kids' lives.
