Terrible freaking timing getting sick AGAIN. 🙃 I had stuff planned for this weekend. My dad's also sick.

Not COVID, both of us tested several times over the course of a few days, but still freaking annoying.

Update: We both have . Test is positive now, FOUR days after my throat started hurting and I tested every single day.

My dad sent a picture of his positive test in the family group chat, so I tested again.

Yesterday I had my worst day (so far) with a bad headache. I didn't check for a fever.

The only time we were around people together was on the 26th. I wish people took more direct responsibility and continued testing before a family event.

So that's round number 2.

@nixCraft I do have dual SIM, but I only really use the 2nd slot for holiday SIMs (America).

Since I've quit Twitter I feel like I'm missing out on some (world) news and I don't really feel like clogging my entire Fedifeed with newspaper accounts.

How are you catching up with the news nowadays? Specific websites, an Email service? I've started thinking about going old school and building my own RSS news feed.

Open to all kinds of recommendations since I'm not looking for THE ONE source. Always diversify your sources.
