Curious throwaway line in the latest Doctor Who: didn’t the Doctor say something about visiting those guys when Ruby mentioned Star Trek? Presumably just a joke and the IP costs would be terrifying. But makes me wonder if they’re in a ‘fictional’ universe or something now.

I think “thigh gap” is a thing that women invented to bully themselves with that literally no heterosexual male cares about. I have never heard a guy mention it, pro or con.

Analogue Pocket with the Sega Game Gear cartridge adapter.

The cartridge sticks up about three centimeters above the handheld, but it kinda has that old school “Tower of Power” feel going on, where you've got the Sega CD/Genesis/32X stack.

What COVID19 has taught us about the Zombie Apocalypse is that there will be zombie denialists, zombie virus infection parties, zombie conspiracy theorists, and politicians ruthlessly exploiting lies about zombies to kill off demographics who won't vote for them—and when a vaccine against Z-virus is invented there will be zombie anti-vaxxers (some of them funded by the Kremlin for shits and giggles).

I watched the first episode of Mike Flanagan’s The Fall of the House of Usher. Off to a good start. The modernized Poe riffing is interesting. Mark Hamill plays Arthur Pym and he looks badass.

It’s been a whole month since I was dragged back into the office full-time after three years of mostly working from home.

(This may be a first world problem since I know a lot of people NEVER got to work from home, but…) I’m not a fan. I feel less like a participant in my family and more like a benefactor that’s just funding them. I hear about most fun events and memories made secondhand, and everyone goes to bed before me so even when I’m home I’m mostly solo.
