Jetzt kann ich mich schon seit mehr als 24 Stunden nicht mehr auf @threemaapp zugreifen, weil Threema.ch nicht aufgelöst werden könne.

Im Web-Browser geht es.

Hab jetzt auch erfolglos die Threema-Paketquelle zu F-Droid hinzugefügt, ohne eine Änderung vermelden zu können.

Allmählich gehen mir die Ideen aus.

Ich habe es nicht als solches herausgestellt, aber mein
Masterplan vom Anfang des Jahres war ein Beitrag zur
Edublogparade von Herrn Mess.

Blog Paraden sind auch so etwas, was es früher öfter gab. Ich habe in der
Vergangenheit an einigen teilgenommen. Für mich sind sie eine schöne
Erinnerung, die mich wieder Menschen online entdecken lassen.
Tatsächlich ist mein Feedreader seitdem auch wieder etwas gewachsen.

I ordered a Fairphone 5 this week to replace my Fairphone 3.

I want to seize the opportunity to update my blog post from 2017
with a recent list of apps, since I am likely to install them on the new
device.

Unlike my Fairphone 3 the 5 will run /e/OS, which is basically a
deGoogled Android OS. I picked it up on Murena. This saves me from
the risk of „bricking” the device. For the sake of completeness, there are

Last night, in an effort to remove stress from @keyoxide contributors, I triaged issues in the keyoxide-web repository.

While I was able to close several of them due to the problem being fixed, my communication was short on some issues. Especially those that have been open since years.

Like I mentioned in my recap for fourth quarter of 2023 I went to the
jobcenter and declared myself jobless. In consequence they are trying to find
another mode of employment to me. I have no plans to give up on freelancing.

At least that’s what I thought. Here’s the thing: I studied mathematics on BSc.
But I failed my thesis. Therefore my highest qualification is the school exam.

Dear @k9mail / @thunderbird team,

I configured K-9 to my inbox containing a few hundred folders that shall be downloaded regularly.

I observe that the crawling through the folders stops as soon as the app is closed.

Is this by design?

I was expecting to have it continuing to do so in the background.

I understand if this is a limitation on Android (13, Fairphone 3).

Only to fall behind on updating their dependencies to the point of running on EOL libraries and frameworks.

The Big Rewrite is going to happen in a newer version of the same framework because we learned our lesson ™, amirite?

I can't leave all the fame to Meta so I set up my own @gotosocial last evening.

Gently moving my followings over there.

It's a great opportunity to consider why I'm following different instances and how to organise the subjects.

I might end up with multiple accounts on the single instance to focus on a certain topic.

Serious question on #ClimateCrise - how's CO2 acting in space?

I read many articles on capturing it & storing it on earth or in the ocean.

But there's always the risk that it could evade again (say, because of a human mistake).

Given so many space missions r planned, would it be possible (ignoring 💲) to release captured CO2 in space? Together w/ ISS missions / satellite deployments?

Has this been a scenario discussed in science circles?

Ich bin hier gerade dabei, eine #WebErweiterung für #MV3 (Manifest Version 3) fertig zu machen.

Dazu hat Alphabet / Google auch Dokumentation bereit gestellt. Sogar übersetzt.

Mit Code-Beispielen. Der Fließtext spricht von Promise und Callback (weil Fachbegriffe). Die Codebeispiele machen daraus Versprechen und Rückruf.
