Mozart turns 1 today! My gorgeous familiar has made one whole trip around the sun! When I say familiar I mean my soulmate.
I bought him several gifts and our vet told me to give them to him slowly so he got one on Monday two on Tuesday and the other two today. He's very happy.

So here we see a close up of Mozart my Belgian hare. Again belgians are this gorgeous breed of rabbit they do come in many colors but unfortunately in America the most common color is Rufus it's very rare to get different color variations in the states. So he has like a ruddy red brown fur long ears with black tips which is standard for his breed. He is chewing on a loofah covered in flowers that I bought from Binky Bunny and he's sitting on his new seagrass mat also bought from Binky Bunny. He's sitting in his bay window the background is kind of foggy looking but it's green cuz all my trees and grass are coming in. He also has a rolled up tube of cardboard next to him he occasionally likes to chew on that rabbits love cardboard and I'd rather heat you that than the window sills.
Here we see Mozart lounging in his other bay window he has two bay windows that are designated just for him. Again Mozart is a gorgeous Belgian hare. They are an extremely silky soft breed he is a Rufus color which is a reddish brown. Belgian's commonly have a light tan around their eyes down their chin down their stomach but when you get to their tail which is a rather long tail for a rabbit their tail is actually White underneath that is. So he's relaxing in his window and behind him is a stuffed bunny and next to him is a stuffed bunny and in front of him is an old camping pan that we don't use for camping anymore which usually has like hey and choosing it you know sometimes he chills in it. In front of him is a grass ball it's a ball that was woven out of grass it's great for chewing on it's got some sort of like Timothy Hay and seagrass I believe. In the background you can see my garage and one of my cars because it is a bay window that he's relaxing in. His ears are down.
Here you can see a picture of me sleeping in bed with Mozart my husband took this photo of us snuggled up asleep in bed together. Again Mozart is a Belgian hare it is one of the most gorgeous breeds of rabbit on the planet. He is super silky soft light brown and red like a reddish brown color with super long ears that have black tips on the end very indicative of his breed. I am covered in a black comforter I'm wearing a white T-shirt my hair is green and blue in the background you can see a giant stuffed dragon and some pillows. This is very common for me and Mozart he always sleeps with me in the morning usually jumps into bed around 5:00 a.m. and we sleep together for about 2 hours sometimes two and a half hours. He also likes to jump in bed and snuggle with me before I fall asleep but he never stays very long.

Rabbits are usually slept on by our society and the abuse they go through is a huge hot button for me.
A lot of people don't understand that it takes time to earn a rabbit's love and trust but once you have it they're no different than cats or dogs they're loyal they're loving their intelligent they're funny they're cuddly they are the whole package. They're just not easy to seduce. Like you give a dog or a cat some affection and some food and they're eating out of your hand in a day or two, whereas a rabbit needs you to prove your trustworthy, and honestly I think that's an extremely honorable trait. And when you've earned a rabbit's love and trust it's such an accomplishment a feeling of Victory you know it didn't come easy and it was literally earned. Because of that I really respect them. In a day and age when everybody wants something fast and cheap they maintain unyielding attitudes towards affection.

@gallowswitch @Writch I'm the classic form of hedgewich before it started being mistaken for Edgewhich.

Basically a hedgewich manages all that happens within their hedges. So plants, animals, stones, kitchen crafts, protection spells, hearth magic.

Where as an Edgewhich deals in astral projections, going beyond the veil. Crossing the lines. Seers and such.

I don't know when the two were mixed up, but it's some Mandela effect bs. Smh.

Mozart is 9 lbs. I'm so happy. It was a little bit of a struggle to get him to allow the vet to see his back teeth but after I explained it to him by tapping my teeth and telling him hey he has to see your teeth we turned him into a bunritto, and I got down at face level looking him in the eye and tapping my teeth saying just let him see your teeth he eventually relaxed and let the vet see his teeth. All in all our vet thinks he's a very healthy bunny and that we're doing a very good job of taking care of him. Everything clean and in perfect order.

Tomorrow Mozart goes in for his 1st annual vet visit, and on Wednesday he turns one. I can't believe my baby is already one.

I had my first standard car lesson yesterday. I only stalled it five times. 3 just trying to get out of the driveway. I was nervous. But after my first lesson I felt amazing! Super accomplished. I'm looking forward to my next go. 😁

Reading a news article I just learned that the astrological date for Beltane is actually May 5th though everybody celebrates it on May 1st technically tomorrow is the true Beltane. So if you missed it on the 1st you have a second chance to do it again tomorrow.
