@arstechnica I watched a WAYMO pull right out into oncoming traffic, near my neighborhood, the other day. 3 lanes of traffic slowed and veered around the car.
People do this kind of mistake, too. But people have safety and self interest in mind, and may be held accountable.
I've been embarrassed by what other presidents have said or done while in office but #TFG suggested a 'hit' on a person who'd been loyal to him, was mobbed-up in the WH, disgraced the nation by stealing nat. secret docs & shared them... aren't just disqualifying, they're criminal & shockingly abhorrent:
When I see phrases like "the importance of mental health" - while I understand that we want to destigmatize and help connect people with support - the phrase sounds #ableist.
How about "the importance of recognizing that many people have mental health challenges, and so we need to accept and embrace everyone, regardless of the challenges they face"?
#Veganism is not only a matter of #justice for me, but it is #intersectional with most social justice issues, certainly all those injustices that are allowed by some sense of power-over, dominance of others, especially of those whose voices are rarely heard, weak, or silent to us.
