But it's too late now, your government has guns and you don't, so if they decide to start shooting protestors, which it appears they're doing, then you already have no response. They're hardly going to let people arm up now.

It is entirely possible to learn to clear a building individually or with a team or partner. There's nothing magical about it, it's fairly straightforward and an essential skill for home defense.
Dumbass 18-yearold marines and pigs clear structures all the time, and I can tell you from first hand experience every antifascist I've taught in that regard has been a quick study.

But that said I'm not saying someone should be breaching doors in their own house, I'm talking about having a fundamental understanding of angular search, points of domination in a room, etc.
It's the sort of simple stuff that people like you and I might take for granted but someone who's just arming up might need to learn.
@kkarhan@salad_bar_breath@solient It's definitely not ideal, but unless you have a partner or team you train with that's going to be there with you 24/7 odds are you'll be on your own. So either you stay put and let the intruders do their thing or you'd have to take action on your own.
Here's a good example, notice the intruder stepping around the corner without doing any kind of search and getting lit up by the defender who clearly knows how to use the angle.
