SpikesOtherDog,

I read the title first and was also expecting something different.

How does the day-to-day work of not wearing shoes in the house?

I have been reading a lot lately about not wearing outside shoes in the house and it interests me even more because I’ve been saving to re-carpet my whole house. It hits me every now and then about how to do things though, like, say I’m cooking all day on Sunday then need to take the trash out. I’m assuming it’s change...

SpikesOtherDog,

Poster heard about people who don’t wear their shoes in the house, except for slippers. They want to know how to make it work for quick jaunts out of doors.

SpikesOtherDog,

I see negative votes, but that is about the target audience.

I still love it, and have been enjoying it for many decades.

SpikesOtherDog,

I have worked in repair for many years. This is the only answer.

SpikesOtherDog,

Always brings me back!

SpikesOtherDog,

It looks like it is happening in the same spot on your bed, and it looks almost like the filament is not extruded near the bed in that area.

It’s is possible for you to have a cool spot in that area? It sounds silly, but do you have a dent in that area?

Does this happen if you move the print away from where the defect is happening? Try moving it in your slicer.

If it still happens in the same spot on your print, try rotating it in your slicer and see if it appears in the same spot.

SpikesOtherDog,

I had this same exact conversation with my father in law years ago. He will always believe that I was willing to keep the runoff from the uncooked meat until the day he dies.

SpikesOtherDog,

I think the next step down from Wikipedia is an actual encyclopedia. Also news websites for archives.

What are your concerns with these sites?

SpikesOtherDog,

I’m my best answer then is moving to China, as Wikipedia is banned there. You may find alternate public resources.

SpikesOtherDog,

Boy am I jelly. I need a medium to large case with a bunch of bays, but I don’t want to pay $100+ for it.

I’m tempted to build one out of scrap wood and line it with foil.

SpikesOtherDog,

Not looking for sympathy here. Had to put one of mine down for the same reason. The very said that maybe she would get better, but she was completely miserable already and wouldn’t have understood.

SpikesOtherDog,

It’s alarm fatigue. At some point you don’t know what is important any longer, so you either click on everything or nothing.

SpikesOtherDog,

I know it’s not your job, but you can do the following: Disable widgets/news and weather Disable notifications from anything but Microsoft and business-oriented software such as your anti virus Disable notifications from websites Unpin unnecessary items from the start Stop unnecessary items from starting up in task Manager That handles most of it.

I also like to reset the task bar back to the classic look, remove the search bar, Windows store, and task view button.

SpikesOtherDog,

I immediately thought that Cells at Work was getting an even edgier third season.

SpikesOtherDog,

The characters are well thought out with significant development. They are likeable and dynamic.

There is a bit of science behind the main character’s work, although the approach is more logical estimating like Sherlock Holmes and less scientific method.

SpikesOtherDog,

Changing my brakes.

Selling cookies.

Yardwork, possibly leading up to mowing.

Pokemon table top.

Anime and video games.

SpikesOtherDog,

I had to explain this similar concept to a co-worker who always puts his tracking info in his parts orders. He didn’t understand until I started asking him about firearms parts he had been browsing on his own Amazon account.

His links are now sufficiently sanitized.

SpikesOtherDog,

The firearms parts he was viewing were suggested to me as things people you know are interested in. He talks about it all the time, so I have him a hard time on the patriotic-sounding names to the parts.

SpikesOtherDog,

It sounds like a defect.

I would vote (in this order)

  • Bad solder joint
  • Failing chip
  • Bad capacitor

Bad capacitor moves up on the list if it wasn’t happening and is getting more profound or if you are having other stability issues.

While I bet you have had it for a while, thiswould be enough for me to try a warranty claim. The problem could lead to other issues.

SpikesOtherDog,

Some municipalities may charge you with operating a vehicle while intoxicated. The reason is that you clearly had the means to operate the vehicle and you did not seem to be alert while observed.
