Today Dropbox's paper, my favorite tool to write and share documents lost two documents that I had been editing for hours.

I can reproduce at will. No trace left of them.

I suspect this loved product is falling into neglect.

I tried Notion, but god it is slow. Are there other alternatives, for shared document editing that are fast and use Markdown for their backend?

I ordered a new MacBook Pro to replace the 2017 model that I bought in 2018. I tried to get one that had both 32 gigs of RAM and a one terabyte SSD but it was a little too much of a reach. I really wish you could still upgrade products after the fact.

@rasterweb Do you run a tap or die over the threads after printing?

@rasterweb I used to 3d print a lot of threads for work and 2 things which I would do to improve strength and quality.

  1. print at an angle to reduce chance for separation between layers (but print can be a little rough so...)
  2. follow external threads with dies and internal with a tap.

It takes more time and work, but I had great results.

    I’m working on a project to help learn better through the docs!

    Currently in very minimal state, need to learn how to make some icons and buttons and stuff like that look decent before releasing the MVP

    Obviously there will be growing pains with a new platform but I was surprised how much of a pain adding FontAwesome icons to a button was.
