I'm so excited that Jujutsu Kaisen season 2 is airing on July 6th on Crunchyroll as well as the usual networks in Japan! That anime has captured my imagination and my need to see the whole story is great indeed.

Gojo is probably one of my favorite characters! He's so powerful that the enemies have to cleverly plan around his involvement in disrupting their schemes. Plus he's so dreamy, a chaotic ball of joy, wrath, whimsy, and wisdom.

@handmade_ghost I wish you luck on making good on those plans. It's a shame to see this wildfire of bigotry spread. Moms for Liberty, the hate group, has propagated this shameful fervor to grow in intensity. Along with others, of course, like the GOP in their many manifestations of intolerance and Corpo bootlicking.

@VoltanisNF Me too, which is why I'm active with putting political pressure on my representatives and social moment causes to foment change. Faith based choices shouldn't interfere with the liberty of all! I want to live in a world without bigotry.

years ago I got on the wait-list for that weird new conservative blog site Thinkspot. When it launched I spent about fourteen minutes giggling & poking through its godawful design and then left forever.

but for years now it's been sending me emails with popular post headlines. so I will look at my phone notifs in the middle of the day and see the most eye popping shit that gets posted there, presumably to great approval?

@jackdaw_ruiz I'm suffering a malice to my INT and WIS scores...This is a mighty curse they've woven with words, eldritch horror condensed into inoffensive words.

After a few seconds pass, with great horror does one begins to dwell on the poorly articulated argument that said words inspire. ROFL Thinkspot is the place where thoughts are born to die.

This I was feeling spicy with my opinions, but I enjoyed just letting out some of those thoughts.

Sometimes, I get nervous about going against what appears the common consensus of human opinion on subjective matters.

Apparently, spicy thoughts=bratwurst for breakfast, I'm letting those steam after a quick sear. Being my Friday, it is a delightful start to it! Sad thing is my doctor's appointment is so early tomorrow...At least I'll be able to get some exercise getting back home.

    @PHIL_FISH I do too, civil disobedience or bank burning is the only way to get those in power to listen! Americans have forgotten our rebellious past. To stoke the fires of change is an important thing through actions that scream listen to me or suffer cash leaks from repairing damage in the aftermath. The entrenched Corpos and GOP Politicians won't listen to anything less these days.

    I was considering buying some games in the summer sales, but I realized my backlog is now back to ‘too many for this lifetime’ after dedicating so many hours to TotK then Diablo4 and now FFXVI, also my bank account is starting to scream 😅

    @alphonzs Same struggle...I'm defeating a small portion of my backlog but also adding to it at the same time. Then committing a ton of time to a game I've not even beaten yet. ROFL

    @Ginnso OG Resident Evil 4 didn't age well... I think you're right especially when compared to its bright and shiny Resident Evil 4 Remake. Only the nostalgic might riot, flip their consoles, or clutch their PC pearls. ROFL

    I bought on sale as the Summer Sale has begun on ! I won't be able to buy as much in the way of games, however, a few gems will end up in my Steam Cart.

    Let's go with a general gaming hot take. is a decent open world game, but much like , it's a bad game. I will die on this hill and you can't tell me otherwise. They caved to trends and killed what made Zelda, Zelda.

    @Ginnso I wanted something like Majora's Mask, Wind Waker, or A Link to the Past.

    Breath of The Wild, while fun and a bit different, feels like an open world game in Zelda's Dress. I can't say I'm truly mad about them making the game.

    However, the whole spirit isn't there, only the leftover lipstick from a kiss of LOZ. It gives me 7/10 energy for certain.

    They're experimenting and that can be good...However, give me Zelda games back. The ones which sparked my imagination as a lad.

    @GrayGooGirl @Ginnso I think some of the ARPG style games weren't mechanically bad per say. I think the story side of those productions was lacking. The narrative heart was having a heart attack...Due to the increased scope of each game that used an ARPG style. A lot more details could be muddled in such massive projects. ATB has fallen out of favor with FF, but other RPGs are adopting it.

    I'm trying a new game today. DioField Chronicles. It got average ratings, but I'm finding myself enjoying it.
    Ratings are bullshit anyway.

    @Dennis5891 I've been eying DioField Chronicles for a while now. I think reviews themselves can be useful, because it provides a user with information that can be used to gauge a game's entertainment value.

    However, scores themselves can be misleading because people tend to favor low or high scores. Diluting the value of the numbers in-between.

    @Dennis5891 1 Star Games tend to be flagged specifically for being a broken pile of digital shit. However, I first look for a history of controversy with a particular title.

    As sometimes the developer might support something that isn't popular with "Gamers" ™. Like being able to romance and marry an NPC of the same gender.

    As in all things, I wish scores would be considered less important. Using one's grown-up words and describing a game to me is preferred. 😂

    I've been watching an LP of I think the combat flows well and I love the soundtrack. Some characters feel stilted, their personas felt haphazardly constructed, Cid and Clive feel the most fleshed out to me. The villains up to the point I reached were decently done. Thematically, I feel they were trying for Game of Thrones, but it comes off as watered down to me... Mainly due to the shallow handling of certain themes. Overall, not a bad game so far.

    Now the Boss Battles are amazing, scripted wonderfully I was thrilled by each battle. A finely crafted tension in a boss battle is a challenging thing to achieve. If they work on their storytelling skills, they'd have a banger of a game on their hands.

    Walking, I find is the best time to generate ideas. As I'm figuring out just how sensitive Werewolf hearing should be in my in progress rough draft. After my second shower, I'll set to work on writing! Thankfully, the grocery store I'm shopping at is within walking distance from my bank.

    This there's no time to pick up my controller...It's just feet to the ground. Pick up my paycheck, deposit it, and go grocery shopping before work. I miss direct deposit so much; life was easier due to that handy feature! 😭

    If Google seriously used this Draconian approach to curbing the use of Ad Blockers on a wider scale...I'd never use YouTube again, unless it were to view content I bought from Google Play.

    @Lorhin That's part of the reason why people use Ad Blockers for certain...Due to the shitty behaviors of Advertisers.

    However, the fact that Google is toying around with the idea of punishing users for making use of an Ad Blocker on YouTube is more relevant. As Google allowed the well to be poisoned, they need to fix the Ad problem.
