Yeah. I figure there’s little to no point trying to engage with people online anout topics I feel strongly about. And I mean anything. Like I quit trying to convince people Mike V is actually a worthless skateboarder and king of the kooks, all the way down to the Sex Pistols are a boy band. Not to mention actually important topics like healthcare and reproductive rights. Though, I’ve quit doing it irl too. I think if anyone I talk to can be convinced to change their mind after talking to me, they’re just going to change their mind next time someone else tries. I find it’s better to just be the person I want more people to be and live by example. It’s the same thing I tell my kids- strive to be the person you want as a friend.
But I also tell my kids no one is allowed to play guns and roses in my house, so come to your own conclusions.
I’m 52 and I saw DK when Jello was singing with them. Yes, I know punk has always been political and woke. I was being sarcastic. I figured of all bands to be sarcastic about going woke, DK was probably the most obvious. It’s not like they did anything other than that.
No worries. Its sad that people are so dumb they think bands like DK or Crass could ever be “middle goround” on political shit. I can see them going after Leftover Crack saying they were good before they took a leftist stand on housing. It’s got us all a little jumpy.
There were big in the '90s. All the grunge bands used them. Shit tones of others too. Mode is a rotary switch that selects between four different tone modes: Off (tone bypass), S (scooped mids), F (flat mids), and Chaos mode which biases the transistor into instability. Theres a trim pot in the box that sets the bias.
I mean, sure if I ever used it. But if I ever actually used any of these I’d realize I wouldn’t have to keep getting more, and that would be ludicrous.

The tripod idea is a good one. I’d suggest just stacking a bunch of stuff up on a table or chair. Or, if you have a tape measure, mark a control line around the perimeter with painters tape and measure up from there.

what's a good way to stick a laser leveler to the wall?
I have a laser level that I’d like to use for lining up pictures on my wall. I’m doing this by myself otherwise I just have someone else hold it. It has a couple holes in it that look like maybe you could use screws or nails and I’d rather not have to put holes in the wall to do this. Any suggestions?
