I don’t normally browse here but it was in my feed and my immediate reaction was a desire to listen to White Winter Hymnal (more specifically, the Pentatonix version).

The law is for devices that come out of the box with a weak default. Like buying a wifi hotspot where the default is “admin123” would be bad. The default being random and printed on a label in the device is probably what this is aiming to usher in.

I started shortly after release, but have invested considerably less time into it at only level 31. I haven’t noticed an uptick, but back around launch I quickly learned if someone dies you don’t grab their stuff - was TK’d a few times for that.

I have noticed an uptick in players who don’t understand the mechanics though. And that’s okay, they’ll learn. Just like I did.

Is there a way to download a Windows.iso anonymously?

Hello, whenever I try to download the Windows.iso from Microsoft, it blocks me because I’m using a VPN. I don’t really want to buy proxies or anything for this. I tried to download it off public WiFi but it was way too slow. I only need Windows for updating the EC firmware on one of my older laptops....

Just download it from a third party and compare the checksum with the official information. Granted, the official checksums on their website are behind a few steps, but you already tried on public Wi-Fi - once you generate the link a “Verify your Download” section should appear.

Tofu is just soy specially prepared, and soy, like many ground crops, grows in soil. Soil/dirt in general can contain trace amounts of metals, one such being lead. Could also be specific to the preparation method, I just remember learning that ground crops generally contain some good and harmful minerals due to, well, dirt.

As a software developer, more frequently than I’d like. Pouring a couple weeks into an epic only to see the entire thing scrapped… At least I got paid.

Happens with personal projects too sometimes, I’ll start refactoring and decide at the end of the weekend I really don’t want to waste me next weekend on it and it’ll go to the archives lol.

But even in those cases, not entirely worthless. I still learned and grew my knowledge. Same applies to similar scenarios not related to writing code.

I happened to be able to see the 2017 one and it was so impactful I saved the date and made sure I’d make it happen. Cut forward 7 years and here I am with most of my immediate family (I have 6 siblings so having most is impressive).

It is an experience that can’t be captured by any form of digital or physical media and my only way to describe it is - it’s the closest thing to magic I’ve ever experienced.

I plan on saving up and going overseas for one as well.

A quick Google says it’s double - so whereas this study finds it to be 20% more likely for vaping, smoking is at 90-something according to this.

Safety Net was replaced with the “Play Integrity API”. The current workaround I’m using is “Play Integrity Fix” by chiteroman and playcurl by daboynb. I believe this is still limited to Android 14 but could be wrong. The xda thread for it could shed some light.

Yes and no. A custom kernel with a patch usually referred to as a “ttl fix” can, but a good amount of ROMs have that in their kernel by default.
