@aaron_pearce Don't take things away from people who have paid for them. Donโ€™t worry about taking things away from people who do not pay you for them. If they value the features, they will pay. If they go away, they are people who were never going to pay you anyway.

@gruber If Apple was really courageous, they would have just made caps lock into ESC ages ago. Itโ€™s like the iMac going full USB. Just pull the band aid off for everyoneโ€™s benefit.

@marcedwards @gruber I suppose the fact that there are UI accommodations for people accidentally having caps lock on is an argument against making ESC more easy to accidentally hit.

Honest talk? Apple Stores are pretty, but not well designed for the purposes they serve. They would work better accepting the sales-service dichotomy like a car dealer.

Yes, leave us in the showroom when we need our phone fixed to look at the new shit, but donโ€™t park us waiting on someone with no way to know when we are going to be helped and scared if we go look at the new shiny they wonโ€™t find us.

@hotdogsladies I was at this Damned in-store (not in photo, which was taken my a good friend) in Rockville, MD, March of โ€˜86โ€ฆand saw the show that night at the 9:30 Club. They were surprisingly nice chaps...and probably my favorite band for about a year in HS.

Oh, and yea, you can find a couple of members of the freshly formed Fugazi in that photo, too.
