I wonder whether any major news sources are going to mention that asset-stripping and then walking away is the endgame. I'm seeing all these 'exodus of MPs' headlines, but no mention of how this form of capitalism operates...

(This is mostly rhetorical; I know the BBC or whoever aren't gonna suddenly start mentioning the c-word.)

Fellow folks who have a formal diagnosis:

When you received your diagnosis, was it a massive anticlimax?

I ask, because my kid got his yesterday and told me that it felt underwhelming, and I distinctly remember feeling the same way when receiving my own, four years ago.

There wasn’t this great moment of relief, just a calm, almost bored psychiatrist saying “Yes, it sounds like ADHD. Let’s try you on this medication and see how you get on”

@DJDarren Mine took so long that... yeah, it was a bit. Self-diagnosis was the impactful thing because that was how I started on the path of understanding and shared strategies.

I present the best cat in the world: Min Yoon-gi, aka Agust D, aka BTS' SUGA.

He's been working as a rapper, writer and producer since he was 13, first in the underground scene in Daegu and then for Bighit. During the pandemic he learned guitar and worked on his singing voice.

When he joined a company and became part of an idol group, he lost a lot of friends who thought he'd sold out. However, he brought his anger and intensity, as well as an openness about his mental health struggles, to BTS' music.

Every so often stories about him surface in the press. They're things like 'He came into my band's practice room, put a bag of fried chicken on the table and left.' 'He drove me to the hospital, stayed with me all night and paid my bill.'
