Of only 32 samples from 3/17 - 3/23, JN.1.* represented 91.4% (⬇️ 98.8%/241, 3/10 - 3/16). JN.1.4.* was still the most prevalent JN.1.* descendant @ 17.1% (⬇️ 21.2%/241).

KP.3 was still above display threshold (4% due to few samples; usually 2%) as of 3/17 - 3/23, at 5.7% (⬇️ 7.5%/241, 3/10 - 3/16), working out to 2 of 35 samples.

5 of 35 samples were JN.1.17 = 14.3% (⬆️ 4.2%/241), though additional samples may lessen JN.1.17's prevalence.

KP.2 is included in JN.1.11.1.* but the bulk of the lineage's growth came from JN.1.11.1 samples (as opposed to KP.1 and KP.2 samples).

Also, as with last week, I have had to condense the alt text by changing JN to " (as in the ditto symbol) when preceded by another JN.* lineage.

Note also that a new variant abbreviation has dropped: JQ.. JQ. = BA.2.86.3.* (so, JQ.1 would be BA.2.86.3.1). While this abbreviation has been present for a few weeks' worth of GISAID data, I didn't notice any JQ.* samples in the data I'd downloaded earlier this week.
