@jpmens works great, but I was missing PDF rendering.
We switched to hugo with the relearn-theme in the end. Wider adoption - and the benefits of md-book were not enough to continue using it.

Okay, since I'm on laundry today, a little story.

When hubs and I first got married, we were very much enjoying our little Honeymoon Bubble, and we were being lazy as Hell. We didn't do many chores, but the laundry we really let go. We weren't wearing many clothes at home anyway, so why bother. Anyhow, after weeks we finally reached the swimming suit bottoms situation, and decided it was time. It was loads and loads of laundry that needed done, so I had my husband back the trunk of the car up to a window of the house, then he popped the trunk, and I started tossing laundry out of the window into the trunk. We went to the bank, got about $30 bucks in quarters, and found the emptiest laundry mat we could, and did it all in one fell swoop. We folded it all and loaded it back into the car using those wheeled laundry carts. We never let it get that bad again, and decided it was time to be adults, and do regular chores, but it still makes me laugh imagining what the neighbors and the laundry attendant thought.

Ich möchte wirklich nicht wissen, warum da zwei verschiedene Systeme ohne automatische Datenübernahme involviert sind.

Le sigh. Now I have to set up A, AAAA and a TXT record in my DNS as a spammer is using one of my subdomains configured as CNAME and that means I cannot add a SPF record for that subdomain.

In der Schweiz gibt's ein Autohaus, das hat sich ein Hotel oberhalb der Ausstellung gebaut. Ausblick auf den Innenhof mit Tankstelle. Inklusive Themenzimmer: Schlafen im 3er BMW etc.

Mal in die -Runde gefragt: was verwendet ihr denn so für Bratpfannen? Ich bin in den letzten Jahren von Teflon abgekommen und bevorzuge eher Keramik-Antihaft (meist von WMF). Ich hab auch gusseiserne Pfannen, die ich regelmäßig mit Leinöl einbrenne, aber für den tagtäglichen Gebrauch ist eine mit Antihaftbeschichtung einfach bequemer.

Aber ich lass mich gern auch von anderen Standpunkten überzeugen. Retröts und Kommentare gerne erbeten.

@xahteiwi zu spät gesehen.
Nutze seit >10 Jahren Induktions-Pfannen von Woll. Gibt's in allen Größen. Die eckigen sind richtig gut (eckige Pfannkuchen rocken!). Auch toll: der abnehmbare Griff, so dass die Pfanne komplett in den Backofen kann. Dutch Baby klappt damit 1a.
Das Material hält hervorragend. Die älteren haben ne etwas schlechtere Verteilung der Hitze, aber das war schon damals so (und ist mir erst jetzt mit den neuen Modellen aufgefallen).

Giving up on configuring to send e-mails. No matter what I try, it can't authenticate to my mail server. "Password mismatch" though it works without problems when I connect with my normal e-mail client, so I know the password is correct. I tried putting the password as PASSWORD and without the backticks in app.ini, no luck.

SOLVED: The key in app.ini is named PASSWD not PASSWORD.

People sending me e-mails, me replying to them only to find out that their mailserver is blocking my mailserver for weird reasons, forcing me to reconfigure my mailserver so I can get through with their mailserver which immediately blocks me again for "abusive behaviour". Well, sorry, fan of my blog. You'll never get my reply I guess. Also dear mailbox.org: your laziness wrt throwing blacklists in your server config is excluding small servers. You are NOT helping with decentralising e-mail.

@jwildeboer @kedare Nope - Spamhaus is punishing you because OVH does not follow the standard and is not assigning you the full /64 subnet that they should.
FYI, Hetzner does assign a whole /64 Subnet to each server and Cloud-VM.
We assign only a single IPv6 address to each VM, where the customer does not have root privileges. The larger deployments get their own VPC with their own 64.

Just saw doing "minor chores" classified as "procrastination".

Time for a reality check.

If, for example, you live in a house with kids and you push off "minor" chores, you'll be living in major chaos in a jiffy. That's not procrastination, that's essential life management. It's fixing things when they show up, not when they blow up.

@xahteiwi I've read "minor chores" as "doing something that ought to be done but is not critical/not for your primary role." For example, running minor updates instead of writing that project architecture plan you've been putting off.

    I talk to people from the UK pretty regularly, I watch a lot of BBC programming, I read a lot of books by authors from the UK, but sometimes they will suddenly use a word I've never heard in my life, and I'm beginning to think they are pranking us, and every other person from the UK is in on the joke, and just validates whatever the other person says!

    @oliof @isotopp mit dem Aspekt, dass es immer mehr Glasfasern gibt und immer mehr Rechenleistung günstig zu haben ist... Eigentlich nicht mehr zu vermeiden.
    Wenn jetzt das Setup noch einfacher wird (hier Box bestellen, anstecken, fertig), sollt es IMHO noch schneller gehen.
