@futurebird My thought process: 12 oz. cans are labeled 330 mL in Japan, so 8 oz. is 220 mL.

What I got wrong: 12 oz. cans are 355 mL, and apparently they are slightly taller than Japanese 330 mL cans.

One interesting side-effect of the fracturing of the streaming space in this post-netflix-is-the-only-streamer-in-town era is now we get to see how the various media companies are organized. The corporate structure, who owns who, is starkly reflected in what shows up in one catalog or another.

In the rush to get through security, I just sent my new rolls of film through the new CT scanner at the airport, effectively killing all of them...

What an idiot. I shouldn’t be allowed to shoot film anymore 😩

, probably no hope for me right? I should just go buy new rolls at my destination?

@vatthikorn I took some 400 ISO film through an airport CT scanner and didn’t notice any problems. Apparently the effects are subtle and one trip through the CT scanner doesn’t necessarily ruin the film:

@vatthikorn Here are some shots that went through the CT scanner. I guess the shadows are a lot lighter than they should be.

1st two shots are on Ilford FP4+ 125, last two are on Kodak Ultra Max 400.

It probably makes sense to treat it like expired film at this point.
