Hey! Those resin dice I made came out way better than I expected

Since I got the $1 mold I've learned they're based on stolen work, AND the fonts on all the numbers aren't the same, so if I were to sell them I'd have to go through many more expensive steps 😬

But for now I'm glad I can experiment like this, these are clear resin with a pinch of PearlEx macro pearl sparkle, and a pinch of PearlEx interference blue, which I thought would look like moonstones. It does! (See video in the next post)

The same dice, still on a black velvet backdrop, from more of a downward angle to show off the blue a little more. The dice are sharp edged and there are some very small pinhole bubbles visible, because I don't have a pressure pot to take care of those

Most dice makers use acrylic paint to ink the numbers, which is way easier, but I had my heart set on them being REALLY silver, so I used a Molotow Liquid Chrome paint pen. So then I had to clean up the edges with paint thinner instead of just water, but it was worth it

My hand slowly rotating the d20 so you can see the iridescence. My very loud wall clock is ticking in the background

The rampant sexism bothered me less once I realized the movie "needed" it, like Briteis outranked Moore but in the end he had to be promoted not just to her level, but above her so he wouldn't be humiliated anymore

It's like if someone says they don't believe in climate change and you get angry but then they say that there's no such thing as climate because the earth is flat, and you're not mad anymore because you realize they're just an idiot
