I took a small hiatus this past week because one of my cats passed away, and I have been grieving. To help myself work through it, I wrote a blog post about fostering cats and dealing with death, as well as sharing my ritual for a pet funeral.

when the Sun rises, cold air, feeling of weight when lifting. After that game to finish and we all going outside to the woods. We will be in touch with forest spirits, watching.
My three years old girl has been taught last time that she needs to ask for permission. It is really important to get the permission from local entities- trees, river, animals. This is their place, remember. Be respectful, because you are guest at their territory.
I think she understood. Hugged big tree trunk and asked if she could stay here with us and hang around.

    This month for my #FullMoonArt I've crocheted a tarot mat specifically for celtic cross readings. The different colored squares help to make connections between cards in these large readings. For example, the white ones are all future-based. I got this idea from @caribouslim, who made a cool tarot generator:

    The colors of the cards made the core of the readings really clear for me, and I knew I wanted a physical one that I could place the cards on. I used whatever scrap yarns I had that worked together and added the black lines to mimic the craftsman-pop-art style of the RWS deck.
