Wenn die Briten neben Popmusik noch irgendwas wirklich toll können, dann sind es Cop-Thriller. Die erste Staffel "Line of Duty" ist bis heute unerreicht. Aktuell und auch wirklich gelungen: "Crime Record" auf Apple+, mit Ex-Doctor-Who Peter Capaldi und Cush Jumbo (Torchwood, Good Wife)

Kann jemand ein nettes Lokal in empfehlen? Für den ersten Abend darf es gern etwas regionaler sein und vor allem ausreichende Portionen vor dem Halbmarathon ;)
Für Tag 3 und 4 nehme ich gerne auch Empfehlungen für Frühstück und asiatische Küche entgegen.

Yo Apple, Google, Microsoft: it would be nice if you copy images between apps that alt text associated with the image would get copied with it. Bonus points for embedding it into the image also.

The IPTC standard has been expanded with two new fields for alt text and an extended description, and Media Asset Managers like my own NeoFinder for macOS have been updated to read and write these values.

Apples "Photos.app" of course cannot handle that metadata...

Q: 1) I use to NeoFinder to catalog a petabyte of video storage that lives on 3 servers.
2) Using NeoFinder I can search for files with similar names. For Example “TARDIS”. Those files are on various mounts.
3) Can I use NeoFinder to copy all those files to a new location. (An external drive.)

A: Actually, yes, you can, either drag the files from NeoFinder to the desired destination folder, or use the "Save Copy as..." command in the Item menu.

Then sit back and relax. ;-)

    LastPass posted their blog on the fake LastPass app sometime yesterday (time unknown to me), and presumably engaged Apple even before posting the blog. The fake app is still up on the App Store.

    Friedrich Merz hat der Ampel-Koalition wegen der Wahlrechtsreform "Wahlmanipulation" vorgeworfen.

    Das ist nach Ansicht von Leuten, die sich mit so etwas auskennen, falsch.

    Es stellt sich also die Frage, ob der Oppositionsführer im Deutschen Bundestag sich nicht mit dem deutschen Wahlrecht auskennt - oder ob er schlicht gelogen hat.

    Ich weiß ehrlich gesagt nicht, was ich schlimmer finde.

    Er hat das Sachbuch: "Faschismus für Dummies" von Don J. Rump und Steve Bannon gelesen, und geht jetzt sorgfältig jedes Kapitel durch.

    Der Mann ist so gefährlich für unsere Demokratie...

    Wieder hat mich die wunderbare Photo-Challenge inspiriert, genauer hinzusehen, diesmal gezielt einen Ort zu scouten und zu finden, den ich spannend zu dem Thema finde.

    Und dann war es doch so viel schwieriger als ich dachte, meine Emotionen zu dem Ort auch einzufangen.

    Ich denke, ich gehe da wohl nochmal hin...

    Also hier eine erste Näherung.
