I am amazed at how much waste composting worms can process.

When a worm bin is well-managed, it never smells bad and the worms prefer not to escape from their house. Also, no intruders will interfere with them.

A worm bin is the most efficient and elegant way to compost inside or outside.

It is a very powerful solution to stop sending your waste to landfills and to help the

If I do not speak about where I live it is simple.

In our conservative neighborhood, we have a few African American families. In one of them, they have people who like to walk.

I could not help but notice that they prefer to only walk in their long walkway and not in the neighborhood because they don't want to deal with that.

No one here that I know of appears to feel sorry about that. So if you happen to find yourself in those situations I see you and yes I understand perfectly what you are doing. And If you want we walk to the park I am fine with that.

This White America is racist. To be honest I find those people to be uncivilized and I assure you there is nothing great about that.

When you have a rooster who wants to attack you every night because every spring his hormones make him nuts:

  • fear is to know he is going to do that
  • courage is to go every night and deal with it
  • intelligence is to know he is just a dummy and you can find a way to deal.
  • wisdom is to realize he can't help it and that it allows you to be the alpha.

He is not aware I can also compost a rooster. But that is what makes me civilized and not a savage.

My experiment on composting in the aisles of our garden beds is quite impressive and I was not expecting good results.

Because weeding the gardens can generate a lot of waste it is always a lot of energy to move it around and deal with it. So I decided to weed the gardens regularly and chop and drop the waste on the aisles.

The negative part of this is that it asks for a lot of discipline to stay on top of things and it is time-consuming.

The very positive part is that the waste is being processed on-site and these layers provide a fantastic mulch. I already noticed that the topsoil on the side of the beds and in the aisles looks good.

The conservatives have agitated the USA because one man wants the world to turn around him.

The last election was never stolen, the conservatives have let American people die from COVID-19 even those who voted for them. The victims of that neglect remembered it and did not go vote. That is why they lost. Instead of taking responsibility for their defeat, they served us the lie that the election was rigged.

We have to deal with an election that no one cares about and that people find obnoxious.

We will stand against those who also neglect the climate by choosing to deny it. You can't forever hide the dust under the carpet.

We need responsible leaders.

It was right to protest and remind the lawmakers that they were working for the people.

It's a Christian nationalist symbol.

Christian nationalists believe that the law of the land is not the Constitution, but instead the law of God as they interpret it.

This article tells you how to make a lasagna compost.

We agree with most of what is said in this article and yes it will produce a massive amount of compost.

The only difficult thing with this method is to maintain a continuous flow of adding materials and harvesting materials. To fix this it is better to use the edges method, start a lasagna at one end of your compost bed, and keep moving the material to a harvest end.

That is how we compost here.

There are two kinds of people in the world:

  • Those who would prefer to make composting illegal to benefit the fertilizer companies for the sake of the economy and money.
  • Those who understand that our planet is in unprecedented danger to be permanently damaged by the first people.

Even if composting was illegal we would not care about the first people and do it anyway. This is why we are glad that composting does not face those challenges.

Our environment is what we rely on to live and we can't mess it up.

Composting is a fantastic tool that allows us to avoid sending our waste to landfills and regenerate our native soils.

If composting was making a lot more money, of course, they do not care about it because it is not an actual threat for the fertilizer companies.

But I have heard people from the fertilizer companies say oh that compost people make at home can't be trusted our product is the real deal buy it.

@martijn What is happening in the USA is an unprecedented assault on democracy and we have to witness here people declare publically they want to suppress the Constitution, and if they can do this they will.

I was born in Europe that is barely recovering from two major conflicts I know what it means and does to families and people.

The people we are talking about are the kind of people who could make composting illegal to benefit fertiliser companies.

So yes we will stand against these people even if it makes us lose a few followers.

Their will to neglect this planet and give the finger to the future generations who will have to fix their mess is an insult to common sense.

The crisis will cost billions for the countries that choose to deny it and since people do not want to pay taxes we do not have this kind of money.

We had to deal with a few demanding people, who were acting as if we owed them something.

I know that capitalism has spoonfed the illusion to some that money is a ticket to entitlement and to treat people like crap.

The thing is, our account is an individual action. we are not an organization or a company. or consultant.

We are doing this service for free and on our time because we think that the emergency of the is worth trying to do something about it.

Therefore we do not have time for uncivil attitudes and poor behaviors especially if they ruin the work being done.

So far this community has been incredible and we work to keep it that way.

Every year I let the tomatoes that sprout in our worm farm grow and it allows us to have a lot of free tomatoes.

What is amazing about those, is that the plants are extremely strong, very disease and pest-resistant.

Those who say protestors are "out of line" for occupying buildings and other violations of "the law" seem to forget that the Civil Rights Act would not have happened if civil rights leaders and all those crying out for racial justice had obliged every law on the books regarding property rights, trespassing, etc. Remember, the law is not always just. It's why people feel compelled to protest in the first place.

Still can't get over the fact that lawmakers in NC decided that wearing a mask was a crime.

The worst thing is that they are having a hard time justifying it, and no one who is not crazy is like oh what a great idea.

If I do not talk about where I live it is because this place has nothing great for it, and the rare people that are somehow decent here do not come from here.

Yes, I am outraged that despite having allergies that require me to wear a mask I do not have the freedom to look after myself.

This is a very good question thank you for asking it.

I have always noticed that when I add a mix of native soil to my piles they tend to decompose better, probably because of all of the microbes and bacteria that are in the topsoil.

I like to put a ratio of 1/10 of native soil in the middle of the pile.

The state I live in (South of the US) is pushing a law to ban the mask in public for "health reasons".

This spring I have been so miserable because of the allergies that by necessity I decided to wear a outside again despite taking strong medicine that won't allow me to be safe outside.

There is also a deadly pandemic going on but who cares I guess.

If I wear a mask that is to protect my health and also others.

I have no name to describe how messed up this is.
