Had to take both kids to my 7yo's logopaedics today. Packed some additional food and water and snacks so we can have a small picnic in the allotment garden later. My 5yo even took it downstairs with him.

Of course then he stashed it in a secure place in the basement instead of taking it to the car. As one does.

I’ll let you in on a secret: I love sporadically updated weblogs. I subscribe to over 1200 feeds and most of them are sporadic or even technically “inactive”. Months often pass between updates

It means that every post published was important to the writer

Back in the days of snail mail, letters that began with “It’s been a while since I last wrote to you” were the ones people cherished the most

You don’t need to post every day or even every week to have a blog that matters

@baldur In a similar vein: The YouTube channels who's uploads I'm looking forward the most are not the ones with a set release schedule: It's usually the ones that sit down and work on a project and release it when it's done. It might just be a few uploads per year, but I always look forward to them.

Has there been any AI project that aims to create a system that takes your own assets and remixes them to produce greater variety?

That would seem like a useful tool to increase the production of textures and sprites within your distinctive visual style.

@Yora You presumably only want to work with your own assets. I think this would severely limit the training data and probably not be enough to train a working model.

Of course as @raptor85 said, you could add your assets to another model, but they still pull influence form the data they have been trained with.

@mz4250 holy jesus that thing is massive and the printjob looks incredible! We're currently playing on a custom galleon one of my friends printed - I can only imagine how a ship-to-ship battle would look like with two of those massive things on the table!

    We just got a delivery from IKEA.

    We wanted an extension of our Ivar shelf with 1 frame and 8 more shelf boards. Instead we now have 8 more frames and a single shelf board.

    And that's what happens when kids are babbling all the bloody time when you try to do stuff.

    Travel day today, but we paused to ride a gondola halfway up a mountain and then ride down in tiny like carts sliding on a pipe.

    Also they have cameras all over the track, so here's Junior and Mama flying down the slope.

    @LeviKornelsen Those things are fun as hell! In germany we call them "Somerrodelbahn" meaning "summer sledding track" which I think is a very appropriate name.
