@w3c I think these lists are limited to W3C groups. Are there also any plans to have similar public lists for community groups? This could help to gain some more attention also to the work which is done there.

It sounds pretty interesting if I would be able to easily migrate my older projects to .

However, I still need to answer some of my core questions

  • Is there any impact if you are not using ?
  • How will this tool cope with the current dependency to the portion of JMF (yep, the old buggy Java Media Framework)?

My projects are quite old and it will require a bigger effort to update them.

@linux_nerd as said before, I am also still working on projects with Java 8 as I do not want to spend my time in porting to a newer version for now.

So I have some understanding if this is a continuation of an older project. But going backwards after you mainly learned the newer versions is not really funny.

However, one project that concerns me a lot is still using the buggy JMF. So I will have to replace this by some other framework first.

@steely_glint @linux_nerd well, it is the RTP portion of it. I started looking into jlibrtp, but codecs might become hard...
