Doh - fireup the laptop and discover for some reason your NAS is not currently connected to #Tailscale and you've locked down everything expect a narrow #Plex port. This is going to put a dampener on a few holiday projects.

Looks like the price of the 2wd BZ4x has dropped here

IMO I think the Soltera is the better deal for AWD

Not a terrible car but a poor EV, horrible efficiency esp in the cold and terrible DC charging

At this price you would really have to not like the competition

Looking at some photos from a few months ago and I'm thrilled at how far we've come. The old climate changer has been removed and the Nissan Leaf electric motor is in. New driveshafts should be ready to pick up next month and then we can get the wheels spinning!

Which lets you customize your own landing page. It's quite a bit heavier than what I was using (left/first image) but it is also quite a bit fancier (right/second image).

Neat stuff.

Kia ora koutou, it seems timely to note that mastodon.nz will not be federating with Threads. This is for a number of reasons:

• Deficient moderation policies that are over-reliant on algorithms with inadequate human supervision [1][2][3][4]

• Their policy is to scrape everyone's personal data to feed their ad algorithms

• Their owners have a history of joining > taking over > destroying platforms and we don't want the Fediverse to be taken over and destroyed.

Despite the local council seemingly fighting against it for years, ChargeNet has triumphed with New Plymouth now having two new 150 kW hyper-chargers installed.
Thats now an extra CCS x 3 + Chademo x 1, plus the existing 50 kW charger will remain for some time.

@siracusa re Apples Blue Ocean. Not sure the battery needs to be user replaceable. Just make it really easy - take off back cover. Swap battery pack. Put cover back on.

I (got apple to) did this with my 12mini this year. No need to upgrade for a while for me… would be nice if it was a 30 min job not a 3 hour one.
