Still learning…but this is me. Love physical exercise like yoga 🧘🏼‍♀️ pilates or balance 🤸🏼‍♂️plus a bit of pump 🏋🏼‍♀️ but also happy to just walk 🚶‍♀️ I believe we’ve lost our way when it comes to food & am a proponent of J.E.R.F. Just Eat Real Food & very little processed or packaged food. Love my garden, especially when I grow my own produce. Not very good at it, but that’s ok. At 71 life is pretty damned good, healthier than I was 30yrs ago & intend to stay that way for as long as I can. Wiradjuri country.

When I was in a book club, I wouldn't show up if I hadn't read that month's book. I eventually left when almost no one each month read the book. The socialising was nice but, c'mon, read the book.

I have never joined a book club before as I’d rarely finish a book in a month. I usually only read when I go to bed & quite often am falling asleep after a chapter or two.

🤷🏼‍♀️Not me! The places where I worked it was frowned upon to even ask for Christmas off as it was a hugely busy time of year. Easter was the same.

Good morning my tooting friends. It’s is blissfully cool outside & I have all the doors & windows open for that lovely breeze. Just finishing my coffee ☕️ before I shower & get on with the day.
While I was in Chiltern I was given & big bag of books to pick some out for myself & asked if I’d deliver the rest to Vinnies. I had got down to just 4 books on my bedside table, now I have 9 on one bedside table & 7 on the other & then there is the bag of books still waiting under the bed 🙀😬. I think from now on when someone gives me books I need to leave them in the car until I get to the opshop 🤣😂.

Good morning tooting friends.
I slept last night with the aircon on & the ceiling fans going to circulate it. Still wasn’t really cool, which is how I sleep best, but better than if I’d had everything open. Woke at 4am & then opened the house up, including the front door & went back to bed until 6.30am. It’s going to be another warm one - 34c with storm warnings 😫.

Swimming is about the only thing I do like about summer. Until I’m given the ok to be without the moon boot I probably shouldn’t - I’ll know if I can go without it when I’m out & about next week 🤞🏼.

Good morning tooters. What a night we had here in Victoria, heavy rain all night & it was warm. Went to bed around 11pm but was still awake at 1.30am. Part of the reason was I was in a bed I’m not used too the other was being over warm. I ended up with not only the ceiling fan on but also the aircon. My leg was aching quite a lot too & I think probably because of the weather, so I hope that disappears once I’m fully healed. Don’t know what time I finally fell asleep but it was sometime after 2am when I took some painkillers 🤷🏼‍♀️ ⛈️.

I’ll probably sleep tonight, but I will prepare better too. If the weather seems similar to last night I’ll put the aircon & fan on straightaway & take that painkiller as I go to bed, it’s just Panadol but I hate taking them. I’ve taken way too many of them this last year 😒. If I get too cold, I have the doona. I always sleep better when I’m cool.

I see this all the time now & especially noticing it more since I was hit & I don’t know about it being particularly male drivers or not, but people just aren’t taking care. Yesterday taking my friends to the train station,I pulled up for a red light, a truck in the lane next to me just drove straight through - a bloody truck!

Good morning friends. Going to be a busy-ish day for me, so regular rests of my leg will be required. Took my friends to the airport at 6am & then came home for brekky. I have to pack my suitcase & bits & pieces to move down to said friends house until the 2nd January as I’m looking after their boofhead cat 🐈‍⬛ called Stormy.
I also have the fracture clinic this morning. Another X-ray will be taken & advice given.
At least my friends place isn’t too far from my own & I can come & go as required & keep up with my own watering, but this would all be so much easier if I wasn’t in a moonboot 😏. Oh well, I’ll manage. #Fracture #Sprain #Moonboot #Housesitting #Petsitting

I don’t see a solution to any of it while trump keeps such a big hold over the republicans & how he does is beyond me. Those that do speak out are few & far between & trump is so dangerous, the man is definitely psychopathic. Biden isn’t the only one too old, trump is as well.
Why they can’t get their act together on both sides with fresh younger faces beggars belief. I guess it comes to power!
