The idea that personal choices can't affect climate change seems absurd to me. Corporations only pollute because we ask them to in the course of the things we consume. If you don't fly are airlines still putting on flights? I'd guess not. Government actions also crucial of course but don't give yourself a pass on the things you can do.

Colour Space!

The image needed something for the foreground and I think this works. Tried a few simpler geometric shapes but it was a bit jarring. This feels nicely organic to go with the background.

Something I don't always remember when making is to change parameters at random just to see what happens. This code is almost identical to the last image, if you make the individual flowers much much bigger so they overwhelm the image.

Unexpected lifehack unlocked today:

The Child is a lot more eager to eat their food if I write their name on it.

Today we had wraps and I labelled them on the wrapping paper (so I could find the spicy one easily).

Seeing the name on their food was exciting enough that they requested it done again for dinner, even though it was unnecessary. Food disappeared more easily than any other day.

So, a magic marker and a few labels will now be permanently kept in the kitchen drawer.

@pezmico I once made a pizza box out of old cardboard and I discovered my kids would eat almost anything served in it. The psychology of this is fascinating.

Which image is more interesting? The first one is the same as the second one but at a jaunty anglea and slightly cropped.
