I often say, jokingly, more or less, that I mangle the english language.

No one ever disagrees with me. If I did that to fish for compliments, boy, would I be disappointed.

But you all seem to get what I'm trying to say, so it can't be that bad.

Is there any way to make an Android app without sticking your face in the blender that is Java and Android Studio and made up stuff like whatever the hell Gradle is?

Let's say I just wanted a 2D canvas to draw on, maybe some touch events, maybe (if you're feeling generous) the ability to play sounds

I did a very autistic thing and bought summer clothes in 2 to 4 packs.

I am now the proud owner of:

  • 9 capri leggings in 4 colors.

  • 10 of the same tank top all in different colors.

  • 4 bike shorts in different colors.

  • 17 autistic t-shirts from my store in 5 different colors (they come in more colors, I just buy the same colors lol)

I will officially wear the same outfits every day in various colors when both sleeping and being outside in the heat lol

I find myself in a situation where I need a program that can look at an arbitrary binary file and tell me what it is

Originally it was a PNG but I have no idea what it is now, it may actually be intentionally obfuscated or even encrypted, I don't know. Looking at the bytes I don't see any pattern at all

So that's something that exists, right? A magic "tell me the answer to my problem" program?

So the best thing to me is when you get to the end of a necessary ordeal (eg dentist, operation, miserable chore etc) and someone says "That was a lot, but you did really well."

I know that all it means is I didn't make a fuss or complain during the thing, that I just survived it.

I know the reason I don't make a fuss during crappy times is because of traumic conditioning.

All the same, I fucking love that acknowledgement. Yes, it was a lot, and yeah I did do really well. Thanks so much!

So if you remove the browser from the equation is there any point in WebAssembly?

Is it just platform independence because you compile whatever language to WebAssembly which then runs it on the local hardware?

@aeva it feels like there's no project for me to obsess over - there's no point in making a WASM interpreter because other people have already optimized that up the wazoo using LLVM or whatever, and there's no point in creating a language that builds to WASM because the whole point is that you can use existing languages to leverage their ecosystem...

Google does not turn up any obvious candidates for what this could be a lyric from. What the devil was I referring to here?
