@paradoxmo It's pretty neat! Takes about 1 minute to assemble. All the pieces are available and you go through the process of assembling the pen parts and the machine presses them all together. It's also a limited edition pen only available at the event and the silver accent says DIY. I'll post a picture of it soon.
Another new #fountainpen day, this time the Kaweco Sport Piston Filler. I really wish they kept the naming consistent and called this the Kaweco Piston Sport, but that's Kaweco for you. I was pleasantly surprised by how far up the piston actually sits. I haven't measured the capacity yet, but I'll do that when I next change the ink.
Side note: The "Kaweco Sport" name on the cap isn't filled in by default. I did that myself as I think it looks better this way.
Kaweco have finally figured out how to make piston fillers again! And it's at a much more reasonably price than I was expecting. Sure, it's more expensive than most Sports, but it's still a good bit cheaper than the Ebonite & Bronze Sport's at just €122.13 at Stilo & Stile. I was thinking if they were going to make it again, it'd be around the Ebonite price range, so I'm pleasantly surprised.
