I asked my small biz customers to pay by check or e-check and many actually have! I have to invoice them separately so it’s tedious but the real ones are down. well, the real ones plus the lady from Texas who told me she was happy to start getting in the habit of paying for things by check due to the 15 minute city people eventually using credit cards to shut down commerce from longer distances 🤗

I find it worthwhile to go back now and again and look through analyses of why a piece of software succeeded or failed.

It's always particularly illuminating to look at three things:

  1. The role of leadership in the failure.
  2. How much leadership got paid regardless/what happened to leadership afterwards.
  3. What happened to the rank-and-file who actually build the software.

The story is always basically the same, with a few variations on the themes.

I always wondered why Trump would pay hush money for sleeping with a porn star. Seems like something he’d brag about. And he clearly doesn’t care about Melania. But now I see it was to cover up the sexual assault. Which also seems like something he’d brag about, frankly.

    met my bestie when we were transfer undergrad students at #NYU trying to navigate a new city and new culture as twenty-something n00bs.

    they called to discuss the #StudentProtests. they don't use social media and still depend on legacy media.

    they said you would not know these protests were organized with the blessing of Jewish Voices for Peace and in solidarity with Jewish student organizations. she doesn't recall seeing anything about Seders on campus protests. 🧵
