Another sign of rigging is that 2024 election results peaked at round figures, Shukshin wrote. This distribution of results looks like a saw on graphs, which led to the nickname “Putin’s saw.”
Probably because he was imprisoned. It’s hard to say what his results would have been, but a lot of experts said just by virtue of being the only opponent he could have beat Putin in a fair election.
Parents of kids who commit crimes in Tennessee will face fines up to $1,000 for each offense after the first one, under a bill that’s headed to Gov. Bill Lee’s Bill Lee...
Even the best parents are not responsible for their kids crimes. Some teenagers have bad ideas, some kids are narcissists, and parents can’t always be near them to assert full control. You can not jail someone for the crimes of someone else, unless there is involvement, period.
If I was to try drugs to ease out, I would probably go for cannabis in a small dose. It’s not physically addicting and some autism patients say it really helps them. Although all drugs are a form of roulette when it comes to the effects.
“Life-and-death decisions relating to patient acuity, treatment decisions, and staffing levels cannot be made without the assessment skills and critical thinking of registered nurses,” the union wrote in the post. “For example, tell-tale signs of a patient’s condition, such as the smell of a patient’s breath and their...
It’s always important to remember that “putting up with stuff” for judges is mostly them making their case appeal prove. Because the judge accepts the bond, now they can’t really bring it up on appeal. That’s the whole reason.
The judge is only more lenient because he wants to pin Trump down and leave him without good arguments on appeal, which is what we want - nothing would be worse than to see everything get overturned.
My logic says yes but mostly it’s gonna be PR issues. But reality says there won’t be any other consequences because politicians don’t like to oust other politicians and courts don’t wanna get involved with separation of power issues.
They are taking so long because they wanna squash his chances for an appeal. They are trying to leave his lawyers without any wiggle room, so that when they appeal, it’s just a formality and no substance.
And for now, they have done a pretty good job keeping the case waterproof.
Donald Trump’s main 2024 White House campaign fundraising operation sharply increased spending at the former president’s properties in recent months, funneling money into his businesses at a time when he is facing serious legal jeopardy and desperately needs cash....
I don’t get why cheating the tax code is so glorified. “OMG this dude circumvents rules we made so that money works fairly. He’s awesome” how do you even get there?
This is such a bullshit response from them lol. “We need less people concerned with product quality and more that take care of popularity. That’s how we make it better” yeah nah.
Can’t even find the argument between your insults, this comment is hilarious, but not in the good way.
And if you wanna have an answer that’s actually informative: it doesn’t matter which company, which country or where, but having content based information as well as metadata can lead to so much power, and there’s a good argument to be made that no one deserves blackmail levels of power over your life, especially a random cooperation that’s beholden to no one except it’s own rules.
And before you go on a tirade again: no, this has absolutely nothing to do with country or anything, this is an ethical dilemma which can be extended to any country.

Terra Morehead, a longtime county and federal prosecutor who helped police frame at least one innocent man, has agreed to surrender her law license and faces disbarment....
For the suit you need evidence, but prosecutors have privilege for their whole case, so technically the inner workings are not discoverable. Now maybe the new judge / prosecutor can waive that on behalf of the government (I straight up don’t know if that’s possible), but either way, this is gonna get ridiculously complicated.
The Senate Commerce Committee heard from members of an expert panel that found serious flaws in Boeing’s safety culture. Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, said the public wants the Federal Aviation Administration and lawmakers to ensure that boarding one of the company’s planes has not become more dangerous....
Yes. We call that discovery issues and if judge has reasonable belief about malicious intent you get into sanctions which can contain contempt charges and referrals to the bar.
Or to put it simpler: if he doesn’t, he lied, and that’s a bad look. If he does, there’s a chance he loses his law license, goes to jail, or jeopardizes his case even after the fact.
Not happening, dude (slrpnk.net)
