#Threads demands to know literally every single thing about you, your health data, your browsing history, your finances. It is utterly insane to trust Meta with this, it is hoovering up absolutely everything. This is a ghoulish #privacy nightmare and nobody should touch it with anything but a chainsaw.
I just released a really important Apollo update that adds the ability for users with remaining subscription time left to decline an automatic refund. Devs pay refunds out of pocket, and this will be about $250K, so I thank you for your consideration. ❤️
Also, this update includes an amazing "Goodbye Apollo Wallpaper Set” for your phone, tablet, or desktop, created by outrageously talented Apollo icon designers. You can unlock the pack with a donation that helps with refund costs. 🙂
@christianselig I already deleted my account 2 weeks agao when the #redditblackout started. I payed for pro and ultra when I was on ios. I don't want a refund cause Apollo was the best thing for me when i was on ios. i remember hanging around the sub asking when it will be released or just a sneak peek. Keep the money I hope you make apollo for Kbin or Lemmy would be sweet!
Judging by the amount of Apollo merch that’s sold in the last two weeks without me even mentioning it, maybe I should be in the t-shirt biz instead of apps
@christianselig But you had to create apollo first so everyone was aware of it. used it for a while and now everyone that sees the merch know's what it means. Hope you come to lemmy or kbin
Hi lemmy.world! New to the fediverse, trying to create lemmy account but I just keep getting a spinning arrow and no sign up confirmation. Any thoughts?
Edit: I’m posting from kbin, I was able to create an account here. I’ve tried lemmy on two different browsers on mobile iOS, wondering if it’s just a glitch due to an influx of users
Edit 2: I tried creating a login on desktop and that worked! Leaving this post up so others can see in case they have the same issue :). Happy Reddit migration!
@MudSkipperKisser@MiddleWeigh Welcome. You only need one account. With one account you can talk and see post and everywhere. Best thing about having a local account is having your own frontage of all the communities you follow. Just like Reddit in it’s own way
Just my 2 cents but with #SteveHuffman and #Reddit threatening mods and forcing them to reopen the subreddits, every subreddit should follow the fabulous example of /r/Pics: become an exclusive haven of sexy pics of #JohnOliver 🤣
I've just deleted my #Reddit account. No time for centralized, techbro-led, user-disrespecting platform. Also, all posts were first manually deleted, so no left value from me there.
