Good morning Masto friends, Happy Hump Day! It's currently 26°F(-3°C) in St Louis, yesterday it was 86°F(30°C) and my sinuses are feeling it. It's great Missouri (mis-ery) weather and typical. I'm looking forward to seeing what shenanigans my two Gen Z employees get up to today. One slept 1.5 hrs in their car yesterday, and the other refused to talk to a mean salesperson. I didn't even know that was an option. Fun times ahead...

Happy Tuesday Masto friends!
It is 60F ( 15C ) and record high of 80F ( 26C ) for this February 27th is predicted. Possible storms tonight with a cold front and temps will be plummeting 50 degrees by Wednesday.😵‍💫
I have never in my oldish life had severe allergies in Feb, but I’ve been enjoying the outdoors without switching over to my stronger allergy meds, arriving tomorrow.🤧 Tree pollen is mod-high.🙄
I enjoyed a slacker Monday, so #today will be a full workout day with outside hikes.

After a relaxing day at the beach chatting to an older couple from Long Island, splashing about in the sea, and drinking frozen mango and banana smoothies, I have retired to my soaking tub. The plan is to shower, get dinner outside watching the sunset, then go down to the waterside bar to join in a “carnival beach party”. Hoping there will be people in carnival costumes, I’m a sucker for feathers and sequins. Can’t believe tomorrow is our last full day, gah

We are welcoming a beautiful weekend especially tomorrow with temps reaching 70F ( 21C ) in Feb, that’s insane and alarming. Sunday we will celebrate a birthday that we missed in Jan here on the property. The great grandbaby’s 1st birthday.🎂 And my 15 yo grandson is spending the weekend so that’s fun.

Oh, we were just walking back from the restaurant through the resort grounds, which are pretty dimly lit, when I saw a huge dark SHAPE galloping across our path and disappear into the shrubbery. Was it a very large black dog? Was it… a deer, or something? Tom didn’t see it and it was so weird and sudden that I feel like I might have hallucinated it

In my summer home, I first noticed when I walked out of view, Teddy immediately looked to the wall mirror, and followed my movements upstairs.
He likes to watch TV in the reflection of my Gaming PC (black mirror finish), and he interacts with images he likes, turning his head to look back at the TV when the reflection shows something he'd love to touch.
