Ab sofort ist der neue Diesel-Kraftstoff HVO100 an den Tankstellen zugelassen. Die Klimabilanz ist zwar deutlich besser als bei herkömmlichem Diesel, allerdings kostet der neue Kraftstoff auch mehr.

Warum? Weil nicht genügend Abfallstoffe für die Herstellung vorhanden sind. Stattdessen muss man bspw. auf Palmöl zugreifen, wofür Regenwälder abgeholzt werden.

@lvk It's more of a traditional p2p approach. I think conceptually we started from more or less the same place, then took very different routes.

As it so happens, I'm preparing a couple of videos on how Interpeer works/will work, and why - and I think that this'll give a better answer when they're done.
