@teamtuck Yeah, that's my thing. It facilitates work and correspondence we simply couldn't do before.

But... that just means it's created all kinds of new work. And now, a large portion of everyone's job just seems to be pushing emails around and tending the weeds.

@teamtuck Exactly so. We've use Teams as well, but in my academic setting, it's big enough that it didn't replace email... it just got added to it, haha. So, now I have two things to check all the time.

@teamtuck haha. It's funny. I'm pretty Apple agnostic. They're fine, but at this point I use all kinds of different platforms.

I was surprised when I saw so many accounts in my follow list light up about the Vision Pro.

@YurkshireLad it is possible on many models. I've seen old Asus Chromebox running Linux Mint. Have you seen the MrChromebox website? Lots of info there on various models and their ability to be converted.

This is exactly what I do with my setup. I have a Mac, a Chromebook, a Linux box, and an Android phone all syncing Obsidian this way.

Trying to find a homegrown solution to syncing my notes across all devices (including mobile) without paying for Obsidian sync.

I think I might have it figured out. Stumbled upon the Remotely Save plugin, and it's working with my webdav on all devices.

I'll test drive for a few days and see if it's too fragile. I'd love to hear if anyone else does this.

@liztai I was doing that for a while with Nextcloud Notes. It's not a bad solution. In fact, I may still do that.

However, I want one or two of Obsidians specific features on my phone while I was out and about. So the tinkering continues, haha.
