Hey folks, does anyone maintain two separate profiles for "work" and "everything else / all the things"?

I'm wondering if it's a good idea to try and maintain a handle that's more focused on apps and work stuff (e.g. @konstantin) rather than posting everything together here.

@chartier @konstantin Oh that's 3! A totally new perspective I didn't consider before. A very theme-based approach...! I can definitely see myself doing that, it will require some discipline on my end.

@chgowiz Sometimes they help. On occasions I like to show-off what I'm working on which leans more on "self promotion". Also at times I share some very specific and technical stuff... and it's all mixed up with my cat posts, posts about hot guys etc. It feels like separating shitposting vs. workstuff may be an improvement.

@ristkof That's what I'm afraid as well. I usually bring my "entire me" in work settings, and I'm not sure whether I can find a good balance to maintane two separate streams.

How can it be possible that macOS is still the only platform that fully embraces “Smart Folders/Albums/Playlists”‽

@frngr I love this feature. Mail also has it and it’s just so natural to have stuff go into their respective smart folders automatically.

@torb @frngr I recently saw a demo of BeOS on youtube, I think we would have been just as happy in the timeline where Apple adopts BeOS for OS X (or maybe SystemB would have been the name 🤪 )
