Viewing the site, tap ..., then tap Install.

This is more than just a shortcut to open the browser. PWA gives chance for better integration into the OS. I have found that the fedi PWAs like Pixelfed, Mastodon, Kbin are really nice. They tend to be feature complete compared to the website and have notifications, sharing and such enabled. It's easy to try and see if you like it well enough or need to go look for a native app

Is there an easy way to see a server breakdown of your follows/followers? Like how many from each instance/server? I've tried copying & pasting my follower list into Excel but it comes out pretty messy.

@nichtq I would say Pixelfed has been hopping lately, thanks in part to the IG import feature maybe.
I see a ton more portrait photogs, street photogs, etc. posting. Way more that cat pics which I still like anyway.

@nichtq one cool thing I've seen artists and photogs doing with accounts in both places -- posting the raw, uncommented art/photos on pixelfed, then posting behind the scenes or background info or making of videos on mastodon. Pixelfed sort of like a portfolio and mastodon sort of like a journal

    i think the PWA works very well on Android, but have not tried iOS

    also @dansup is making an app, I believe... KBAM? but he is also working very hard on like, 12 things, so... it'll maybe take a minute
