My apartment is the best. I have a little sitting area at my balcony, I've filled it with plants, and two sunbirds are now building a nest on one of my plants. It's like something out of a fairytale lol

Two little sunbirds have been going back and forth picking up stuff to build their nest...in my balcony. Their little chirps have been my companion the whole day. If i had a it would have had such fun. Real birbs!

Meet Ginger (top) and Dasher, two hellions I kittysat. Ginger is the source of all chaos, Dasher is her ever-loyal follower, appearing at her side, confused, when she meows at me in protest about something. (Usually when I decided to do human things like work.)

Dasher's favourite hobby is staring at walls for long periods of time. I like his zen.

It's true: If you have 2 cats, one will be a derpy airhead, and the other one will be hellfire.

I think 2023 is the year I adopt a . I feel the call so strongly. I've been fostering and kittysitting and maybe it's time to embrace being that cat mama.

The only thing I worry about it s that I like to go for impromptu vactions. I like that last minute, feel like going somewhere, toss things in bag and go. Kitties tend to be upset if you do that.

I literally hear birdsong at my balcony every day now as a pair of sunbirds are busy building a nest on my money plant, who is sadly dying for some reason. I hope it lasts long enough for the sunbirds to complete their job :)

I bought too much durian from an overly aggressive roadside uncle.
Me: Daaaaad we have to give away these quickly cos how to finish everything tonight??
Dad takes a look then: "No problem, I can do it."
😅
FYI I literally ended up with 16 biji. For a family of four. I get that we love durian, but there are waistlines to consider lol

My family is celebrating with durian and santan rice. lol. No turkey. We donno where to find one lol. Maybe Kyo Chon/KFC kot lol

I'm the durian lady for my family. Every time family needs to party, they ask for durian, and I got a seller on speed dial. Convenient saje.
