My mood is super low now. Yesterday was an OK day, but today I do not like my life. I can only hope that tomorrow will be a better day again. I did think yesterday that I might be coming out of this low, but right now I feel worse than I’ve felt in quite a few days

Back from the cafe. I have achieved my main goal for the day, which was to post a 50th birthday card to my best friend from school. Second goal I will need Tom’s help, it’s to tidy the bedroom enough so it can be cleaned tomorrow. I just can’t do it alone.

I know I've said this quite a few times, but I absolutely swear that every single time I look out of a front window / door, my neighbours are coming from or going somewhere. I must know why. I realise this seems like someone who's been at home too long and is losing their grip. But what could they possibly be doing. Imagine the cost of fuel if nothing else! Why is it always both of them? What could they be doing a dozen+ short car journeys every single day to do!? OK I've read this back to myself and it doesn't look great. I might need to go outside for a bit.

Just had this message from a friend and I am raging! “Think my running journey is over... Didn't make it2 10k as ran past a man who whistled at me & then stuck his foot out. Couldn't dodge it fast enough so went flying. Not sure I'll have the confidence to go out again

I have been cat called so many times running, and once a young man slapped my bum from behind and tried to pull me into the bushes, but I think this is worse. Why the fuck is women feeling powerful through running something men feel compelled to try and take away?

Have been feeling sorry for myself since last week as have been very unwell. Saw a Dr and I have a viral upper respiratory tract infection (cough) AND pharyngitis (strep throat) at the same time. Joy oh joy. Have antibiotics and a week off work.

So I went for a five km walk and an ice cream, and I bumped into two dear friends on separate parts of the route and stopped and had a natter. Then unfortunately I got into an altercation with a woman who was blocking the shop door with not one, not two, but THREE dogs and making no effort to let people in or out. She outright refused to move them, and made a yapping mouth gesture with her hand at me. I climbed over the dogs and left but in that moment I could cheerfully have slapped her. I didn’t want to end up in court, though 😂 Honestly, so rude and thoughtless! I’m surprised the shop staff didn’t ask her to move. Anyway that ruffled my feathers and I’m only just starting to calm down.
