In my head, the last few days have "felt" like Friday. In the midst of all the chaos, I miraculously am still chugging along with...everything I have to do. This week's #rtistry #ggplot2 work is for the "Wavescapes" chapter. In the last week, I've re-learned more about basic trigonometry than I care for. Here are some snapshots of some WIP outputs as I'm still trying to land on an example to go through step-by-step for the beginning of this chapter.

"Kidney Failure” was NOT on my ‘bingo card’ for 2024, but here we are.....

It is so important to be your own healthcare advocate. This is the reason I am alive today, as I almost died right before NYE after multiple ER visits that resulted in me being sent home when I should have been admitted with the onset of an aggressive (and nearly fatal) AKI brought on by an allergy to a new med.

I am happy, I am (relatively) healthy, and excited to start recovering at home so I can start enjoying 2024 ❤️‍🩹

🚨 My job has an undergraduate internship open for next summer. Fully paid and fully remote. We use R (#rstats) for data science with prostate cancer clinical trial data.

While you don't need to be an expert in R, you do need to have some basic R programming skills down. We mainly use the tidyverse and we do collaborate with versioning control with git/github and are always willing to train/help the right intern for the job.😊

Ya'lll....this is the first night in like MONTHS that I don't have a talk, or art, or package dev work that has to be worked on. I am exhausted, but back home and coming down from the high of seeing my baby squeal in delight when he saw me for the first time when I came back from posit conf today.😭 🥹 Here's to hoping I sleep well tonight!!
