@jann I've always been somewhat nocturnal. Really struggled with enforced time jobs and school.

Much happier now I'm working for myself and can fit my own hours

My dog, that we’ve had for just over two years, has gone for a sleepover at a friend’s house (with my son).

The house feels different. I don’t like it. Suspect I am missing him more than him me.

He’s gone as a practice (which we will build on) so that we can eventually have a weeks holiday abroad without him.

On Tuesday evenings Spike and I come visit my parents. Ridley is a bit bouncy for my mum, so Spike gets a rest from Ridley being bouncy and my mum gets to pet Spike and everybody is happy.

Also, it means Spike gets a treaty tea. He's had pizza and sausages tonight. And now he snooze:

    One of the perks of not living in Texas (besides that glaringly obvious one) is that you can donate to this charity and potentially get placed on a bounty list by a lunatic who may try to sue you for $10,000 if they find out about your donation and learn that you’re visiting.

    Thank you @habibcham and @pauls for talking about photo apps and mentioning Photomator.

    I downloaded it yesterday and have been using the ML function on very old photographs. Very impressed with it.

    I’ve hundreds (perhaps a thousand) “photos” that I’ve digitised via a digital slide reader or Google’s PhotoScan app. The enhancement feature is making light work of bringing washed out and poorly coloured photos back to life.
